TORO LOCAL GOVERMENT COUNCIL FLAGGS OFF DISTRIBUTION OF HOSPITAL AND LEARNING MATERIALS

Toro local government has flag off the distribution of hospital equipment, twin chairs and learning materials worth over forty million naira.
Flagging off the distribution the executive chairman the local government pharmacist Ibrahim Abubakar Dembo said the gesture is aimed to enhance conducive learning environment and proper health care services of the health centers across the local government.
The chairman said twin chairs, students registers, diaries and time books were procured and would be distributed to primary schools across the local government, while hospital beds, mattresses, microscope and digital ultrasound diagnostic machine would also be distributed to primary health care centers across Toro local government.
The chairman while reaffirming Determination to prioritize Education and health sector all the time for the development of the area, he directed the benefiting facilities and primary schools to make best use of the material provided to them an announced plan to paid and unscheduled visit to monitor the use of the facilities at the grassroots.
Receiving the materials on behalf of the benefiting primary schools and health facilities the Education secretary Alhaji Ibrahim Shehu Musa and director primary health care Alhaji Jibrin Yakubu both commended the executive chairman for the gesture and promised the best use of the materials provided, pointing out that the department has set a high powered committee to ensure judicious utilization of the materials.
In their key note address, the chairman SUBEB Bauchi state Alhaji Adamu Moh’d Duguri represented by Alhaji Suleiman Aliyu ChikaSoron Toro and PDP chairman Toro local government Alhaji Aliyu Usama Wundi both acknowledge the local government chairman gesture and urged people of Toro local government to rally round the chairman to help him continue to emulate his father the state governor on the execution of tangible project that has direct bearing to the people of the area.
In his vote of thanks , the Sarkin Yakin Bauchi Alhaji Aliyu Yakubu Lame applauded the chairman and promise their continued support and called on citizens of the area to reciprocate the gesture by sending their children to school and accept all vaccination and immunization as well as encouraging their families to attend antenatal care at the primary health care facilities for the development of their socio economic development.
