BAUCHI STATE GOVERMENT REITERATES COMMITMENT TO IMPROVE SERVICE STANDARD FOR STATE OWNED MEDIA

The State Government has reassured of its commitment to improve service standards of state owned media outfits.
The State Commissioner of Information and Communication, Alhaji Usman Shehu Usman made this known during an Inspection visit to BRC FM Alkaleri and Kirfi.as part of his familiarization tour of departments and agencies under his ministry.

The Commissioner who was accompanied by the BRC Board and management an provided insight into the operations and challenges faced by the stations.

During the visit, Alhaji Usman Shehu Usman expressed satisfaction with the progress made by the stations and assured the management and staff of the state government’s commitment to supporting the development of the broadcasting sector.
The Commissioner emphasized the importance of effective communication and information dissemination in promoting development and good governance.
He added that the state government would soon renovate the ten FM stations and establish more for effective communication at the grassroots.
Alhaji Usamn Shehu reaffirmed the commitment of the present administration towards repositioning the state owned media organizations especially at the grassroot for effective implementation of government policies and programmes.
He encouraged the staff to strive for excellence in their duties and to ensure that the stations continue to provide quality programming and services to the people of Bauchi State.
The familiarization visit is part of the Commissioner’s efforts to engage with key stakeholders in the information sector and to promote effective communication between the government and the people.
In their separate remarks the Chairman Board BRC and BATV Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Bello and Managing Director of BRC Alhaji Chindo Waziri, emphasizing the importance of effective communication.
They stressed that communication is key to achieving the organization’s goals and objectives.
Alhaji Inuwa Bello, highlighted the need for seamless communication among staff members to ensure smooth operations. He encouraged the staff to maintain open lines of communication, fostering a collaborative work environment.
The Managing Director of BRC, Alhaji Chindo Waziri, reiterated the importance of communication in driving success. He urged the staff to take ownership of their responsibilities, emphasizing that effective communication is crucial in achieving individual and organizational goals.
