Gov Bala appoints new Bauchi State Head of Service and Economic Adviser.

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has sworn in Barrister Mohammed Sani Umar as the State Acting Head of Civil Service.

The governor tasked Barrister Sani who was until his new appointment, was the Permanent Secretary Establishment in the office of the Head of Civil Service to provide good leadership in the civil service, ensuring efficiency and professionalism in the state’s public sector.

Governor Bala Mohammed has also sworn in the immediate past Head of Civil Service, Yahuza Adamu as the new Chief Economic Adviser with a clear mandate of advising the government on critical economic strategies aimed at fostering sustainable development in the state.

According to him, the two appointments are part of his administration’s ongoing commitment to enhancing governance and strengthening the state’s civil service and economic management for better service delivery.

The Governor explained that the Chief Economic Adviser will work with the State Economic Management Team as the secretary in the team in the coordination of inter-sectoral economic policy direction and monitoring progress in implementation of government policies and programmes.

Responding, the Chief Economic Adviser, Yahuza Adamu expressed gratitude to Governor Bala Mohammed for finding them worthy of the positions and promised to live up to expectations.
