Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board SUBEB has embarked on monitoring of activities and inspection as pupils and students resump for the second term of the twenty twenty four twenty twenty five academic session across the state.
The SUBEB Executive Chairman Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Duguri who led other officials to Northern Senatorial Zone expressed satisfaction and dissatisfaction with the turn out of students in some Schools visited.
He noted with satisfaction that teachers in Bulkachuwa central Primary and Junior secondary school were on ground and teaching and learning process had commenced.
Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Duguri frowned at the situation at Dagarwo Tsuhuwa primary school where no pupil and teacher was found in school.
He however expressed disappointment over the bad attitude of the head master for giving out school chairs for public use
At Junior secondary school Sakuwa in Azare, Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Duguri also expressed dismay on the late coming attitude of the teachers.
The chairman said the importance of community’s effort towards enrollment and retention of students as well as protecting facilities cannot be overemphasize to achieve the set objectives.
Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Duguri pledged his resolve to punish erring staff and reward dedications.
On his part, the SUBEB Director Quality Assurance Malam Abbas Abdulmumin charged the teachers to engage the use of proper teaching methods with aids aimed at impacting effective knowledge to their students.
While acknowledging their negligence to official duties, the affected staff also assured their readiness to be punctual henceforth towards complementing government’s educational drive.
