Coordinating Minister of Health and Social welfare says provision of healthcare services remain top agenda of President Tinubu.

The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Mohammed Ali Pate has said that providing good and affordable healthcare services to Nigerians is among the top priority agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony of Northern Traditional Leaders Conference on Primary Health Care Delivery at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Bauchi, the Minister said the administration is increasing investment in healthcare infrastructure and the training of health workers to improve performance.
Professor Pate said the ongoing reforms in the health sector have been focusing on addressing the numerous challenges affecting the delivery of healthcare services to Nigerians and promised that the federal government would not relent in working out modalities of ensuring effective service delivery.
He also said the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is working in collaboration with critical stakeholders to improve the wellbeing and welfare of the citizens through provision of qualitative healthcare services at all levels.
The Health Minister appreciated members of the Northern Traditional Leaders Conference on Primary Health Care Delivery for their outstanding support towards the delivery of primary healthcare services and urged them to support the move to enable the Federal government achieve the desired objectives.
On his part, the Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed commended traditional institutions for their support and participation in the implementation of health programs which has assisted citizens to have access to qualitative healthcare services.
Represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Ibrahim Mohammed Kashim, the Governor told the participants that his administration has revatilized primary healthcare services and is doing everything possible to improve performance in the system.
Also speaking, the Sultan of Sokoto, Mohammed Sa’ad Abubakar assured the readiness of the traditional institutions towards supporting government at all levels to provide citizens with affordable and accessible healthcare services.
