Over one thousand people in Bauchi State benefited with the food pack provided by the First lady of Bauchi State Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed in collaboration with the Bank of industries.
Presenting the items to the beneficiaries at the Government House Bauchi, the state first lady Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad said the gesture was aim to reduce the situation faced by the citizens in the country.
Dr Aisha Bala commended the efforts of the bank of industries for the collaboration, saying it would assist the citizens at this material tine.
She called for more assistance from well to do and other organizations for unity and progress.
Dr Aisha Bala revealed that, the bank of industries provided the food pack while her office donated the sun of five thousand naira to each of the beneficiaries.
In her welcome address, the commissioner of women affairs and child development Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko said the assistant came at the right time considering the current economic reality in the country.
Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko commended the First lady and the Bank of industries for putting smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries.
In her vote of thanks on behalf of the Beneficiaries, the PDP state women leader Hajiya Maimuna thanked the first lady for the donation and prayed Almighty Allah to reward her abundantly.
