BAUCHI APPOINTS NEW LOCAL GOVERNMENT HAJJ OFFICERS TASKED THEM TO DISCHARGE DUTY WITH OUTMOST SERIOUSNESS.

Bauchi State Government has appointed new Local Govt Hajj Officers who will spearhead services to pilgrims at the grassroots, charged them to fear Allah and discharge their responsibilities with honest and outmost seriousness.

The Executive Secretary of the Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris gave the charge at a special handing over meeting between the outgoing and incoming Hajj officers which held at the conference Hall of the Board.

In present were the Special Adviser to the Governor of Bauchi State on a pilgrims affairs, Hon. Shehu wadaji Dan Amanan Jamaare, the Chairman of the Board Alh. Nuru Adamu Jumba Chiroman Bauchi, Directors and other Principal officers of the Bauchi Pilgrims Welfare Board.

Imam Abdurrahman stressed the need for Hajj officers to prepare for the Job and ensure prudence in dealing with the pilgrims, adding that Board will not condone any act capable of turnishing the good reputations of the Board.

He commended the outgoing officers for their sacrifice and selfless services to pilgrims through out last operation, called on the incoming officers to do their best.

In his goodwill message, the Special Adviser, Hon. Shehu wadaji advised the new Hajj officers to work in synergy with the outgoing officers and other staff of the Board, emphasising that the support and cooperation of their colleague who started the job will ease their assignment.

Earlier, in his remarks, the Chairman of the Board Alh. Nuru Adamu Jumba Chiroman Bauchi tasked the officers to seek the knowledge of do and don’t of Hajj exercise, describing their appointment as unique opportunity to serve the guest of Allah.

He warned them not to betray the confidence reposed in them, adding that the Board will not relent to deal with any officer found wanting.

The highlights of the event were brief presentations by the Directors of the Board on the activities of their directorate.
