Kadalen Kanawa community in Warji local government are has opened a new weekly market aim to boost business activities in the area.
The weekly market would be operating on Thursdays in the community.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the State commissioner for Water Resources, Abdulrazak Nuhu Zaki applauded people of the community for the initiative which he said would enhance the economy status of the community and the local government.
The Commissioner represented by Warji Local Government Caretaker Chairman, Mohammed Shuaibu commended governor Bala Mohammed for constructing Warji-Gwaram road which facilitated the emergence of the Market.
He called on the people to continue supporting the present administration with prayers to enable it implement more developmental programmes.
Speaking on behalf of the Community, former Warji Local government caretaker chairman, Alhaji Alhassan Mahmood expressed delight with the development and commended all those who supported the idea.
