Wikki Tourists FC defeats NAF Fc Abuja by 1–0 to top Group ‘C’ Northern Conference of the NNL.

Wikki Tourists Football Club of Bauchi has defeated NAF FC of Abuja one-zero in the ongoing 2023/2024 Nigeria National League.

The eighty one minutes goal by Mamuda Aliyu gave WikkiTourists fc the much needed three points to top the group ‘C’ Northern Conference.

Mamuda who came into the game at second half showed resilience and confidence when the chance to score came his way and wasted no time in clinically finishing the process putting Wikki Tourists ahead.

The first half of the match ended goalless with both sides exhibiting hunger to win, though, the visiting giant elephant of Bauchi has the better part of the aggression as many scoring chances were missed by Owolabi, Sulaiman,and Damala at different instances.

In an interview, the Head Coach of Wikki Tourists Muhammad Azeez Audu expressed gratitude to God for the victory and commended his players for rising to the occasions.

Azeez Audu appreciated the Wikki Tourists supporters and the state Commissioner for Youth Sports development for his untiring efforts in supporting the team.

To this end, Wikki Tourists will welcome ABS of Ilorin in Bauchi next weekend.
