GOVERNOR BALA MOHAMMED SWEARS IN NEW CABINET MEMBERS

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has sworn in newly appointed commissioners urging the entire cabinet members to ensure total commitment to assigned responsibilities.
Speaking at the swearing in ceremony held at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Bauchi, the Governor said the task ahead of them is enormous, hence the need for them to contribute positively towards the overall development of the state.
He said the recent reshufflement of the cabinet is necessary in order to achieve the desired objectives of his administration for the socio-economic wellbeing of the people of the state being a priority agenda.
The Governor reiterated the unwavering commitment of his administration towards the execution of people oriented policies and programs geared towards economic growth and development.
The sworn in commissioners are Usman Shehu, Ministry of Information, Dr Iliyasu Aliyu Gital, Ministry of Agriculture, Dr Bala Lukshi, Ministry of Livestock Development, Babayo Tilde, Ministry for Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs, Dr Lawal Rimin Zayan, Ministry of Education, Babayo Gabarin, Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Others are, Abdullahi Misau, Ministry of Lands and Survey, while Commissioner for Works, Gambo Galadima was moved to Ministry of Internal Security, Salis Gamawa from Ministry of Youth and Sports to Ministry of Commerce, Mohammed Bin Abdulkadir from Ministry of Commerce to Religious Affairs.
