Bauchi State Assembly expresses satisfaction with the progress of ongoing Flyovers construction in the state capital.

Bauchi State House of Assembly has expressed satisfaction with the progress and quality of work at the ongoing construction of Wunti and Central Markets in the state capital.

The Chairman House committee on works and Transport Engineer Garba Adamu Kawu gave the commendation when he led other members of the committee on a working visit to the project sites.

The lawmaker said the flyovers construction and all other road projects across the state when completed, will go along way in reducing traffic accident, enhance economic activities as well as beautify capital city as seen in other States of the federation.

Engineer Garba Adamu Kawu commended the state Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for awarding road constructions in rural and urban areas of the state for rapid development.

He revealed that the committee would write a comprehensive report in respect of the inspection tour and make recommendations to the state government where necessary.

The Chairman house committee on works and transport commended supervising engineers of the on going various roads construction across the state from state ministry of works for their professional advises and guide to ensure value for money and success of the projects.

The representative of the company handling the flyovers construction, CCECC CHINESE CIVIL ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, Shao Zhan appreciated the committee for the visit and assured quality job according to specification.

He informed the Committee that works has reached an advance stage of completion and expressed optimism that within the remaining contractual period, the project will be completed and delivered.

Meanwhile, the House Committee on Works and Transport has inspected the ongoing construction of access road at ATAP Bauchi and other road projects awarded by the state Government.

The committee has also inspected the ongoing construction of access road at Nigerian Air force Base, ATBU Gubu campus to Nasarawan Siyi, Sabon Kaura-Birshi-Gandu-BRC, the Bayara access road, Gwallameji-Doka-Rafin Zurfi and the Zango-Gwallagar Mayaka road construction sites among others and expressed satisfaction with the quality of the work so far done.
